Mr. Mailman

Conner asked me if I would order him a Fireman Sam costume from the internet.
Me- "We are not going to be buying you anything else real soon, you have a lot of stuff,"
Conner- "Well, that's ok, I'll just ask the mailman to bring me one."

Mad Mommy

Conner was telling his class that he bought a new house. They were a little confused and asked where he lived now. Conner told them he lived in an apartment. They didn't know what an apartment was so Ms. Andrea was explaining that it was like several houses connected to each other and you pay rent.
Ms. Andrea asked Conner if there was anything else he wanted to add about apartments,

Conner said- "Well, when you live in an apartment, someone lives on top of you and they make a lot of noise and are really loud and they make your mommy really mad!"

Under One Roof!

Conner asked me the other day....
"Is our new house the one we are going to live in forever? Or are we going to move again sometime?"
Me- No, this is our forever home."
"At least until you get married, then you will move out and get a house with your new wife."
Conner- "Well, I don't ever want to move out mommy, I want to live with you forever."
Me- "Well, I doubt your new wife will want to live with us,"
Conner- "Isabelle will love living with all of us when we get married."

Deer Tipping!

The other day while driving down the road, Conner yells,
"There's a deer!"
Steve puts on the breaks a little expecting one to run out in front of us.
Conner said "No, he's not going to run, he's just tipped over."
Me- "What do you mean tipped over?"
Conner- "He is laying on his back with his legs in the air, he tipped over!"
Sure enough on the way back through, Conner showed us the deer that had all four legs pointing to Heaven. Sure enough, that poor deer had tipped over...... a few days ago!

Where is Hilton???

We went to Hilton Head last week. Returning to daycare, Conner took some vacation pictures and a wooden ship he had bought as a souvenir. All the kids came rushing over to hear about his trip and see the wooden ship.

Conner- "I got this ship from Hilton Head."
Henry- "So Hilton gave that to you?"
Conner- "No, there is no Hilton, we were in his head."
Henry- "What?"
Conner - "Yeah, We stayed in Hilton's Head all week, but we never found Hilton!"

I thought Ms. Andrea and I were going to cry in laughter watching this conversation unfold!

A Call to Mom and Dad

One day at Daycare, Conner was testing Ms. Andrea repeatedly. This was out of Character for him, so she said "Conner, if you don't change your attitude, I am going to have to give mommy and daddy a call."
Conner quickly told her "Oh, Well, both of their phones are broken right now!"
